How it works

From a glance to a live dashboard in seconds.

01

Enroll once

An admin captures a few frames of a student's face. A non-reversible 128-dimension descriptor is computed and stored — never the raw image.

02

Glance to check in

At the gate kiosk, the webcam detects multiple faces at once and matches each against the school gallery locally.

03

See it live

Every check-in streams instantly to dashboards with charts that update in real time.

Frequently asked

A few things schools and parents usually want to know.

Is student data linked to the Ministry's own records?

Yes — schools, students, classes, and teachers can be synced directly from the Ondo State Ministry of Education portal, keeping local records aligned with the official register.

What happens to a student's face data?

Only a mathematical descriptor is stored, computed on-device in the browser. The original photo is never uploaded or saved, and the descriptor cannot be reversed back into an image.

Does check-in work without an internet connection?

Face detection and matching happen entirely in the kiosk's browser, so recognition itself doesn't depend on internet speed — only submitting the attendance record needs a connection to the school's network.

Can a teacher correct an attendance record?

Yes — form teachers can manually mark or adjust a student's status for the day directly from their class register, alongside the automatic face check-ins.
